The best way to get your abdominal muscles ready for action is by raising your body temperature and heart rate and increasing blood flow to your muscles. Warming up may also help reduce muscle soreness and lessen your risk of injury.
Activate Your Deep Core Muscles First
Next, you have to activate your deep core muscles for increased performance and to minimize the risk of injury.
Here is an excellent method to get your transversus abdominis engaged:
First, think about hollowing out your belly and drawing your belly button in toward your spine.
Then, imagine that you’re about to be punched on your side and brace for it.
5 mins for a Six-Pack
In order to absolutely blast your core, do the below exercises for 30 seconds each and repeat the circuit twice. This should take you about 5 minutes to complete.
Mountain Climbers - 30 seconds
Floor Wipes - 30 seconds
Side Plank Crunch - 30 seconds each side
Bicycle Crunch - 30 seconds each side
V-hollow hold - 30 seconds each side
